HALEYS COUTURE's EBAY ID WAS CHANGED

After the many times we tried to contact Haley's couture, they have already completely ignored our emails. So we got friends to email them and ask questions about their "supposedly authentic" birkins, to which they answered almost immediately.

We know that they will MEET UP with you to show you the birkin, BUT REQUIRE a deposit! They will MEET with you so you can pick up your birkin but ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE PAID IN FULL.

This was on their ebay seller clause. We also found out that since we had been hounding them with emails about our refund last August, they have CHANGED their ebay ID!

They used WORTH*AVENUE*ONLINE to buy HERMES products (ribbons, boxes, locks and keys) from different ebay sellers like *beatrice* (feedback date April 12, 2006), and also montecarloclub (feedback date June 22, 2006). They can keep changing their ebay IDs but they cannot hide from our eyes.
Haley's Couture NEW EBAY ID as of AUGUST 23, 2006 is ginger*finds and we think that they will be SELLING their NEW BOOK again this coming December.

BUYER BEWARE OF GINGER*FINDS ON EBAY.

We have already gotten feedback from the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) about this whole scam and have already submitted all the information pertaining to this matter.

We may not be getting the money we had sent them, but we are hoping that they be put behind bars for what they have been doing.

Here are two more comparison photos. Note the base of the zipper of the Haley's Couture birkin! The Haley's birkin zipper base is rounded.It's different from the real one below! THIS BELOW is the REAL HERMES birkin zipper. Hermes zipper is NOT rounded at the base and there is a "break" by the loop where the "pull" is located.This detail is SO easy to miss to the untrained eye. But having had Hermes bags bought straight from the Hermes boutique made us know what details to look for.

Here's another comparison photo. An AUTHENTIC HERMES orange birkin. Look at the zipper pull and the base. It does NOT match the Haley's birkin.

Lastly, we would NOT be going this far in pursuing a refund from HALEY'S COUTURE , HERMES GALLERIA , SAC EXOTIQUE (or whatever their name is!) if we obviously don't have a claim and a solid stance on the matter.

It IS VERY HARD to get a real Hermes birkin in BLACK with WHITE stitching, and yet, HALEY'S COUTURE SOLD MORE THAN ONE OF THESE! ONE was put up on EBAY with G stamp.

We should NEVER tolerate FAKE and COUNTERFEIT designer merchandise and people who do this for a living-- selling counterfeit designer bags and passing them off as the real thing, should be arrested!! There are so many people out there who worked so hard to be able to afford an AUTHENTIC Hermes birkin and they may not have the means to get it straight from the store. But that does NOT mean they should fork over their hard-earned money to SCAM ARTISTS like Roslynn Matthew and HALEY'S COUTURE GALLERIA !!!

WHY ARE THEY STILL OPERATING? FBI caps their investigation on fraud at US$500,000 above. We got scammed US$6,700. ANOTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCY IS CURRENTLY HANDLING THIS CASE and WE HOPE THEY CAN PUT A STOP TO THIS COMPANY!

THE FAKE BIRKIN REMAINS in OUR POSSESSION

YES, The Haley's Birkin is STILL WITH US. Because we CANNOT get confirmation from HALEY'S COUTURE that they will refund us the money. We had even OFFERED to PAY FOR ESCROW SERVICES for their refund, so that the escrow.com company knows that the birkin gets received. We have also offered to send the bag via FEDEX WITH TRACKING NUMBER to ensure that the bag won't get lost.

What was HALEY'S COUTURE response?

NOTHING. NO EMAIL. NO MORE REPLY.

We have spent OVER US$450 on LONG DISTANCE BILLS just to end up talking to their offsite CUSTOMER SERVICE HOTLINE.

ROSLYNN MATTHEW'S Address is registered as the Original Haley's Couture address. It is PUBLIC RECORD.

As for KNOWYOURSELLER.BLOGSPOT.COM , they ask for donations to sustain their operations. You do realize you have to PAY to pull out public records from archives. And they had paid for OURS because they were sympathetic to the cause!

THE BAG IS STILL WITH US IN THE CONDITION IT HAD ARRIVED. We received word from a government agency already about the fraudulent activities of HALEY'S. And we are going to hold on to the bag until we are given the go ahead signal to send the very same bag to IC3 (yes, the government agency handling this).

We are NOT STUPID. Why would we send the bag back to HALEY'S COUTURE if they DO NOT EVEN AGREE TO ESCROW. Worse, WHY would we send the bag to them if they have CEASED COMMUNICATION WITH US?

It would not be prudent on our part. And NO, the bag is NOT BEING USED, it is in our custody and we DO NOT TOLERATE USE OF FAKES!!!

Why do you think we would make such a case out of this, if we were just not satisfied? We each have our own lives to live and we don't let this problem revolve around our lives, but pray tell, this is A SERIOUS MATTER! WHY would waste time and even bother to contact GOVERNMENT agencies with this problem if in the end, it would result in nowhere? This is by no means, an indication that a deal went sour. Whoever left that comment on this blog about that thought, is really laughable. But if you were on THIS END, you WOULD NOT BE LAUGHING.

HALEYS FAKES

While we are continually emailing HALEYS COUTURE for their reply-- we had suggested sending back that fake 35cm birkin we bought from them, via Fedex, to be sent to Roslynn Matthew's address.

HALEYS COUTURE did NOT reply to our proposed idea. We have all the emails of correspondences with this company. NO MORE REPLIES from HALEYS!

Furthermore, we cannot possibly be competitors who are "jealous" of HALEY'S popularity.

This birkin belongs to a woman who had recently given birth, and that this birkin is a birthing gift which the husband had paid for.

How would YOU feel if your husband gives you the money to buy an Hermes birkin, as a birthing gift, and what you get in the mail is a VERY GOOD FAKE ???

HALEYS COUTURE/ HERMES GALLERIA'S SILENCE

To date, representatives or the owners of HALEY'S COUTURE/ HERMES GALLERIA/ SAC EXOTIQUE have NOT gotten back to our emails. A law enforcement agent has been tracking them down as well, and had likewise left numerous messages for the owners, but to date, NO RETURN CALLS were made.

They have COMPLETELY ignored our emails, calls. We had even proposed to have our lawyer and a law enforcement agent meet with the owner ROSLYNN MATTHEW, at the PALM BEACH HERMES BOUTIQUE, where our lawyer will hand over the Birkin in question to MS. MATTHEW, and have the bag authenticated there and then. If indeed the birkin is found fake, ROSLYNN MATTHEW IS REQUIRED to REFUND the money we had paid for the bag.

Another proposal was for the birkin to undergo an escrow agreement. That when the bag arrives at their doorstep-- take note, NOT the mail forwarding/ virtual office, but at the DOORSTEP of ROSLYNN MATTHEW'S HOME, then escrow will release the full payment to us.

NOPE. NO REPLIES whatsoever.

Here is another email to HALEY'S COUTURE that we had sent-- this is in regards to their sale of a counterfeit designer merchandise.

"For HALEY'S COUTURE/ HERMES GALLERIA's information, their company though not legally registered (which also would be subjected to IRS investigation for undeclared profits directly related to the proprietor), is located in US soil. The United States is a member country of the World Trade Organization, and as such, exercises the agreement on TRIPS (Trade- related aspects of intellectual property rights). A violation of such agreement encompasses willful trademark counterfeiting or copyright piracy on a commercial scale. Sanctions must include imprisonment and/or monetary fines sufficient to provide a deterrent, consistent with the level of penalties applied for crimes of a corresponding gravity. Criminal remedies in appropriate cases must also include seizure, forfeiture and destruction of the infringing goods"

THE OWNER/OWNERS COULD GO TO JAIL. We informed Haley's that. Before the weekend, and today. Still NO response. NONE.

The FAKE HALEY'S birkin vs. the REAL HERMES Toronto birkin

Here are the comparison photos.The raincoat on the left side and left-bottom are from HALEY'S COUTURE. The whole feel of the raincoats are fake, fake, fake! Hermes would NEVER create raincoats that are made from cheap plastic that's thick and SMELLY! The REAL Hermes raincoat came from the Hermes Toronto ALL black 35cm birkin (G stamped). The raincoat is actually very soft and thin.

Here is what's even more alarming. If you just take one quick look at the "raincoat card" that came along with the fake HALEY'S birkin, you won't notice any difference at all, but here, take a closer look!
The card on top is from HALEY'S birkin, while the bottom one is from the REAL Hermes birkin that was bought at the Hermes Toronto boutique. The top card from HALEY'S lacks a LOT of details! That footman really just looks like a bird with legs (and look at the legs and compare it to the bottom Hermes card! See the difference?)-- he doesn't even have a profile for a face!! The wheels on the carriage don't even have detailwork unlike that of the real Hermes card below. And notice too that the HALEY'S print of the word "HERMES" has thinner and slightly taller font than the real Hermes one.

The fakes are really getting much, much better at fabricating copies of the real HERMES birkin.Just look at that photo above. The straps of the HALEY'S birkin are longer than a real Hermes birkin. And look at the stamping of Hermes-Paris on the metal plate on the belt strap. It's so heavily stamped. A real Hermes birkin has those words engraved lightly.

Now look at this REAL HERMES BIRKIN photo below.
THIS is what the real HERMES Birkin handle measurement is supposed to be. It's not LONG like that fake HALEY'S birkin. Notice the light engraving on the metal plate of the belt strap. (This image was "sharpened" twice)

Here is a side by side photo of the two Birkins-- the birkin on top is the REAL HERMES birkin. Look closely at the stamping (HERMES PARIS MADE IN FRANCE) above the central locking-- it is actually ink-stamped. So the leather actually has that feeling of engraved lettering with matte silver ink. Meanwhile at the bottom of the photo is the HALEY'S birkin. The stamping above the central locking is messed up. It seems like it was just "printed" with shiny foil ink. There is no evidence that it was "stamped" into the leather, which would have caused some depression on the letters. This is a very poorly printed stamping, using a shiny foil type ink, which gets rubbed off!

I understand fully that you are dissatisfied and would like some answers and a resolution as quickly and easily as possible. My ultimate goal is to assist and work with you fully in order to resolve this situation. That is my goal and we do hope that resolving this is your foremost goal as well. I will answer any questions and respond to any comments that you may have. We extend the opportunity to fully discuss your complaints further and thoroughly now and in the future.

The next step that we would like for you to take into consideration is for our company to do a thorough investigation regarding your claims. Please understand, that while our policies state that all sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges whatsoever, we value and care about our clients and your opinion. We do not want you as a client to be dissatisfied. For this reason, we would like to proceed further and make every attempt to resolve this fully. This is not some conspiracy. HALEY'S COUTURE / HERMES GALLERIA SOLD A FAKE $6,500+ HERMES BIRKIN!

HALEY'S COUTURE, also known as HERMES GALLERIA, is a company that seeks to scam and intentionally fool people into thinking that they are a legit and reputable Hermes reselling company, when in fact, it is all one BIG LIE.

First, Haley's Couture CLAIMS to have opened a boutique in the heart of Paris, right at St. Honore. Their address, as "signed" on their customer support email is "68 Rue Du Faubourg, St Honore Paris 75008, France." We have had a few people sleuth around, and there is NO HALEY'S COUTURE in Paris. The address they CLAIM is in fact the ROBERTO CAVALLI boutique!! Check it out on their website at www.robertocavalli.com and you'll see their office address is the same as Haley's Couture!

STRIKE ONE!! There is NO HALEYS COUTURE boutique in Paris!!

Second, Haley's Couture FIRMLY claims through customer support rep Kathryn Woodyear, that "that as a reputable and prudent reseller, we deal with only other highly well-known reputable resellers and/or Hermes when it comes to acquiring the birkin handbags. We have certain procedures and protocols in place. All pre-owned handbags are first looked at by Hermes - they match the leather, stitching, blind stamps, and other details as a courtesy. We have had it looked at by an Hermes representative at our local boutique and they have double checked every detail regarding this birkin. We only sell authentic merchandise."

BOLLOCKS!! By "local boutique", it is safe to assume that since their so-called "boutique" is located in Palm Beach Florida, we called HERMES PALM BEACH and spoke to the very kind Store manager, Miss Charlene to confirm HALEY'S claims. The Manager said "HERMES does no such thing. HERMES does not authenticate Hermes bags, purchased from another store or elsewhere. This is store policy".

STRIKE TWO!! Hermes has NEVER authenticated any of HALEY'S COUTURE's "Hermes" birkins.

HALEY'S COUTURE's owner Roslynn N. Gaiter Matthew is also the author of this book called HANDBAG of the FABULOUS, which details her quest to acquire a birkin. This book intends to also lure the potential customer into getting a bag from HER company. After all, if desperate enough, wouldn't you be more willing to put your money in someone who has somewhat earned a "reputation" or "credibility", since she has published a book on that subject? One would be inclined to think that she is already an authority on Hermes birkins, after having published a book about it!

Here's a quote (pg. 32)-- "If I submit the birkin to Hermes and it is found not to be authentic, do you offer a full refund?" And The author's answer is this "Deal only with reputable companies and individual sellers who will not give you the run around when asked this question. Getting a refund or exchange should not be difficult. All resellers will back their merchandise with a full refund if ever found not to be authentic simply because they will never have to offer a refund whatsoever."

And so we contacted the company to ask if they offer refunds if their birkins are found to be fake. Here is what the customer representative Kathryn Woodyear had to say " Thank you for contacting Haley's Couture. I would be more than happy to assist you with whatever you may need. We have been selling worldwide authentic luxury designer bags for over 5-years. We do not allow for exchanges or returns."

STRIKE THREE!! Did we read the book right? Don't reputable companies need to have that authenticity guarantee or money back-- that refunds should NOT be a problem if the bag is not found to be authentic? But HALEY'S COUTURE does NOT offer refund whatsoever!! Because they claim this-- "We have had it looked at by an Hermes representative at our local boutique and they have double checked every detail regarding this birkin. We only sell authentic merchandise."

Then of course while sleuthing, we found THIS same looking HERMES black birkin 35cm with white stitching on EBAY.

So we emailed Haley's if they are the ebay seller WORTH*AVENUE*ONLINE, or if they sell on ebay. And before that-- wait! The listing says "Guaranteed genuine Hermès!" . In the author's book, which I quote on page 36 (regarding red flags for fakes) "The birkin bag is genuine Hermes... Genuine is a commonly used word many resellers on eBay will use fraudulently. The seller does not have to be responsible for declaring it as guaranteed authentic." By the author's own admission, the words "GENUINE HERMES" would ultimately mean, fake, because that word is often used fraudulently, as she says. So, that ebay birkin that worth*avenue*online is selling, is a FAKE!

But WAIT! We checked HERMES GALLERIA -- the mirror site of HALEY'S COUTURE (both are owned by one and the same-- Roslynn Gaiter Matthew), and HERE is what we pulled up. Note the title-- "THE HERMES GALLERIA... GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC OR YOUR MONEY BACK"

Ok... THERE IS A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE if Hermes birkin is found to be counterfeit (and yet, WHY are we being refused of a refund for that FAKE Hermes birkin they sold?)

Here's what's even scarier-- their OWN website uses the word "GENUINE" --- and we quote "We deem that only genuine products are sold at the Galleria."

We further prodded Haley's through customer rep Kathryn Woodyear, if eBay ID worth*avenue*online IS Haley's. Her reply, "Presently, we do not sell on ebay, only directly with clients through our store." THIS IS ANOTHER LIE.

STRIKE FOUR!! HALEY'S COUTURE IS EBAY ID WORTH*AVENUE*ONLINE!!!

Please direct all questions to our email address: info@haleyscouture.com"

So we emailed Haley's again, this time another customer rep is answering our emails. Someone who claims to be customer service director, named Daniel Osorio. We gave him the info that HALEY'S IS WORTH*AVENUE*ONLINE, and his email reply said "What the owners and their respective associates and affiliates do outside of the store is their business. From our standpoint, we do not operate on Ebay as a company, we deal only with clients directly through our store. Irregardless, your transaction was with Haley's Couture, the store. Therefore, we have no authority over what is sold on eBay. Our customer support extends to clients that contact Haley's Couture. If you wish, please contact the Ebay members that you are inquiring about directly if you would like further information regarding them."

And here's more information that would scare the living daylights out of you potential clients of Haley's! THEY HAVE BEEN ON EBAY SINCE DECEMBER 2004!! And they got banned. And they returned with a new eBay ID!

And they have actively been sending emails like this one below, which lured us. A preowned Hermes birkin for $6,500? What a deal, if it is indeed authentic, right? Alas, this was the very same birkin that you will see below that was purchased. It's a 35cm black Hermes togo birkin with white contrast stitching, year H, stamped C.32

As it turns out, it is a VERY GOOD FAKE HERMES.

Yes, it is THEIR birkin. In fact, they even sent a thank you card along with the purchase (nice touch IF the bag was authentic!!). Heck, the lock is so scratched up. It was probably bought, along with the authentic dustbags at eBay. Check feedback of worth*avenue*online-- they had bought the REAL HERMES trimmings!!

So, we have notified Haley's Couture about the fake bag we received. Repeatedly asked for refunds. They skirt around the issue a lot. Said that there are procedures to be followed etc. Said that their owners are still not back from their vacation yet. Yada yada yada.

And countless emails later, NO. The money we have paid them has NOT YET BEEN REFUNDED. Haley's wants us to send back THIS birkin in question. In Daniel Osorio (their so-called customer service director)'s own words, "by you deciding to keep the birkin, simultaneously request for a refund and not allow for any further investigation by our company, we cannot further help you" (email dated July 27, 2006). And we are supposed to believe that money will be refunded after the bag has been sent back? Are you kidding? This may be a very expensive fake Hermes birkin, but no one is turning this gold mine (yes, gold mine-- think of how happy Hermes would be to get a hold of this fake bag and be able to NAIL the ones who are selling the fakes!) over back to the bag demons without a refund first!!

So. Now what do you do with a birkin that 's worth over $6,500 and is a VERY GOOD Hermes copy that came straight from Haley's Couture? You turn it over to HERMES headquarters if they still refuse you a refund, and you point HERMES to the direction to HALEY'S COUTURE for having sold it to you.

Let the company file the lawsuit against them. What they are doing is illegal. What they have done is consumer fraud, and on a larger scale, allow the sale of counterfeit designer merchandise!

Roslynn Matthew (the author and owner of HALEY'S) has noted that she had met a mom who was having her fake birkins custom made in Italy and we quote, "Just as easily as this mom has fakes custom made in Italy, all the unsuspecting buyer has to do is run into one of these fraudulent sellers and be fooled. They could literally spend thousands on a bag worth maybe $10. That is why this book is so incredibly important. It is my personal mission to arm men and women everywhere on how to prevent themselves from being duped by devious sellers." (Introduction of the book)

People, we have stared straight into the devious demon's eyes-- we got ourselves a $6500+ fake "Hermes" birkin which only probably cost $20 to make. Do note it's a VERY GOOD fake. All the "identifying marks" of a real Hermes birkin are present on this bag! It's all in the details!!! Look, even the zipper pull has the word "HERMES" on it. But look closely. The zipper base of a REAL Hermes birkin DOES NOT look like the zipper base of this HALEY'S BIRKIN.

Meanwhile, look closely at THIS photo above. THIS is the photo of an authentic HERMES birkin bought straight from HERMES Toronto last November 2003. This all- black birkin is blindstamped G for year 2003.

And here's another photoIf this HALEY'S BIRKIN were real Hermes, would Hermes have such sloppy handiwork that they can't even cut the leather right to conform to the shape of the metal plate on the strap? The stitching on the strap is sloppy too! And what's with the stamping using a shiny foil-like metallic ink that gets rubbed off???
